There’s something about the shift into warmer months that makes you look at your home differently. Suddenly the throw blanket that felt so right in February looks like it belongs in storage, and that corner you’ve been meaning to deal with since last fall is impossible to ignore. We get it — and we’re here for it.
What We’re Seeing
Warm neutrals are everywhere right now, and for good reason. Creamy whites, soft terracottas, and muted sage greens are replacing the cooler grays that dominated interiors for the past decade. If your space feels a little cold or dated, swapping out a few textiles — a rug, some throw pillows, a new set of curtains — can shift the whole mood without touching a wall.
The Small Change With Big Impact
Lighting. Always lighting. We say it constantly because it’s constantly true. A well-placed lamp does more for a room than almost any other single element. If your space feels flat, it’s probably not the furniture — it’s that every light source is at the same height doing the same job. Layer it. Add a floor lamp in that dark corner. Put something warm on a side table. You’ll be amazed.
From the Studio
We’ve been deep in two residential projects this month — a full living room renovation in Fisher Park and a kitchen refresh just outside of Greensboro. Both clients came to us feeling stuck. Both are leaving with spaces that finally feel like them. That’s the work we love most.
If your home has been on your mind lately, now is a great time to talk. Spring projects book fast.
