Church Revival

Renovation and furnishings for a historic home honoring the past, but looking forward to the future.

Built in 1905, this Church Street home is rich with history and architectural charm. We partnered with the homeowners to thoughtfully enhance the original character of the house while helping it function beautifully for modern living. Our goal was to honor the past while layering in warmth, cohesion, and a sense of ease.

We created a tailored paint plan  that respected the home’s historic bones using deeper, saturated tones to bring intimacy and depth to select rooms, while lighter hues allowed natural light to travel effortlessly through the space. This balance of moody and airy moments highlights the home’s architecture and creates a natural flow from room to room.

The furnishings were selected with scale, comfort, and longevity in mind. Classic silhouettes and soft textures nod to the home’s traditional roots, while clean lines and livable materials ensure the spaces feel welcoming and current.

Lighting played a key role in elevating each room. Carefully chosen fixtures add warmth and personality, enhance architectural details, and create layers of light that shift seamlessly from day to evening.

To finish the spaces, we curated and placed art to add soul and storytelling, connecting rooms visually while reinforcing a calm, collected atmosphere throughout the home.
